PANTALON SHORT UDT BASIC TRAINING US NAVY SEALS CIRCA 2001 AFGANISTAN WAR

TALLE 40

The “Pantalón Short UDT” refers to the iconic, short, khaki-colored shorts worn by US Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) and later by Navy SEALs during Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training and other operations, known for their classic design with a button fly, adjustable waist strap, D-rings, and a single back pocket, made from durable cotton-polyester twill for waterborne activities. They are still issued and used today, a tradition symbolizing Naval Special Warfare.

Key Characteristics:

Design: Based on original WWII GI patterns, they are very short (around 3-inch inseam).

Material: Typically a 60/40 cotton/polyester twill blend, durable for harsh environments.

Features: Button fly, adjustable front strap with D-rings (or O-rings), and one rear patch pocket.

Color: Classic khaki or tan, sometimes available in tiger stripe camo.

Purpose: Originally for frogmen (UDT) for waterborne operations, they remain a symbol of Naval Special Warfare training.
