El Morral de Combate M-1928 (Haversack) fue el equipo estándar de la infantería estadounidense durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Este modelo, fabricado por Crawford Austin Mfg. Co. en Waco, Texas, destaca por su diseño "modular" de la época, compuesto por dos piezas principales: el cuerpo superior y la extensión inferior (conocida como "cola" o pack tail) que permitía ajustar el tamaño según la carga.

The M-1928 Haversack was the standard field pack for US Army infantry from the early 1930s through much of World War II, until it was superseded by the M-1944 and M-1945 systems. Unlike a traditional backpack, it is a complex modular system of canvas flaps, straps, and buckles designed to be worn over the shoulders and attached directly to the M-1923 Cartridge Belt or Pistol Belt.
