Up for auction is an Argentine made Ballester Rigaud pistol chambered in 45 ACP. This 1911 lookalike pistol features a slightly modified but equally reliable action to that of the famous browning pistol. It takes the same magazines as the 1911 and is chambered in the venerable 45 ACP just like its American cousin. The barrel measures 5 inches and has sharp defined rifling. The action is nice and smooth, and this pistol also bears the mark of the national gendarmery, since all of these pistols were engraved with the branch of service that they served with. Overall a really cool pistol with a lot of history and a must have for any Argentine arms collector.
